Gar
Hold Entry Hall
The
Entry Hall of Gar Hold is roughly octagonal in shape. Eight doors lead out of it, one is the one you just entered
from. The first thing you notice is
the mural painted on the walls. It
seems to be a panoramic depiction of a orchard in the spring. The artist took their time as everything is at nearly life
size. Lining the sides of the Hall
are padded stone benches, that seem to flow freely into the mural.
Posted over the Door to the Holder's Office is the Hold Crest, A shield
of Forest Green with a solitary Blue band placed diagonal across the shield.
While the center of all movement in Gar Hold, it still remains a pleasant
place to stop and talk anytime with friends, and enjoy the mural.
On
the perch is Cupric.

Natch
nods at Zidon, giving him a small wave of recognition.
Zidon
strides in, sending Natch a smile back. "Afternoon."
Natch
adds a "Good afternoon," to her greeting and simles. "Been out of
the kitchen, have you?"
Kantala
walks in from the Main Hallway.
Zidon
pauses as Natch speaks, then nods. "Yeah I have to go out at some
point," he replies, smirking. "Afterall, how many bubblies can this
Hold eat..."
Natch
laughs at Zidon and nods but says "You might be surprised. I think they'd
eat bubblies instead of anything else and never get tired of them. Maybe we need
to grow a crop of sweetner cane."
Zidon
winces. That'd mean, gasp, more work for him. "Oh, I think someone
responsible would tell them to eat their greens." And then someone
irresponsible would probably suggest green bubblies. Hmm.
Natch
laughs softly and pats Zidon's arm. "Well said, well said. I'm sure I can
count on Aslyn to make sure we eat healthy."
Zidon
chuckles. "Oh I woudln't count on that. Afterall, her specialty is desserts
and all..."
Natch
smiles and mmm's teasingly "Must be Danak, then. No one's asked me about menus in turns."
Kezzra
walks in from the Main Hallway.
Kantala
says, "Hi Kazy."
Kezzra
says, "Oh...Hi Tala."
Natch
nods the the newcomers and smiles again at Zidon. "Must go meet some of the
workers. Someone actually thinks we have grubs. Of all the silliness."
Zidon
chuckles. "Why would they when there's always bubblies?"
Natch
smiles and chuckles before she heads to the courtyard.
Natch
makes her way to the CourtYard.
Kantala
walks in from the Gar Hold CourtYard.
Kantala
(#18832)
female
Gar Vintner (Prob. Apprentice)
A
beautiful woman stands before you. She reaches the height of five six, her long
blonde hair cascades down her back. Blue eyes reflect everything she sees in a
new and facinating light. She is tall and thin. Her skin is lightly tanned, pink
lips and rosy cheeks stand out slightly, a few freckles are scattered across her
nose.
She
wears a short-sleeved dress that hangs at mid-calf. It is blue, matching the
color of her eyes. Tan wherhide sandles cover her feet, looking like her dress,
almost brand new. A silver chain hangs about her neck, a small silver ring on
her left pinky.
Kantala
wears a single loop knot of forest green, a badge with a dark red wineskin
pouring into a glass on a white background attached to it denoting her as a
member of the VinterCraft.

You
go to the Main Hallway.
Main
Hallway
The
Main Hall is lined with 'Portraits' of the past and current Holders and a large
tapestry entitled The Watchdragon (look tapestry). The Hall itself is painted in
a pleasant forest green, the primary color of the Hold, with a Dark Blue strip
running about three feet off the ground along the sides of the Hall. A couple of
sofas are situated here next to the doors for the Steward's Office and the
Holder's Office, so that one can rest comfortable while waiting.
To
the east, you see one person.

Kantala
walks in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.
Kantala
says, "Hello."
Kantala
says, "I don't think we've met before. I'm Kantala, but you can call me
Tala if you like."
Zidon
nods to the young woman walking in. "Afternoon," he smiles. "Oh,
well met, Tala. I'm Zidon, or Zi if you prefer."
Kantala
says, "Nice to meet you."
Zidon
smiles, his eyes watching Tala's knot for a few moments. "You're a Vintner
then?"
Kantala
nods, "Yes sir. And my sister is a starcrafter."
Zidon
smirks. "A StarCrafter? And what might her name be, then?"
Kantala
smiles, "Kazy...well Kezzra really...that's just what I call her Kazy
is."
Zidon
ohs. "Kezzra. Hmm, I don't believe I know her actually... is she new around
here?" Then again, he only remembers certain of the Harper patrons.
Kantala
says, "No. She's been here for awhile now. I'm the new one."
Naol
walks in from the Workroom.
Naol
enters, noticing the same person from before. "Sir?" he asks.
"Oh,
I see." Zidon turns from Kantala to Naol. "Hmm?" Why's everyone
calling him 'sir' all of a sudden?
Kantala
says, "Is something wrong?"
Naol
stops, as if to listen to a faint sound, then says. "Well, I would like to
learn how to..." He then emphatizes, "bunnyslide."
Zidon
grins. "You too?" Good, then he won't haev to go back to the kitchens
right away. "And how about you, Tala?"
Kantala
says, "Oh...That's so much fun! Ms Natch taught me the other day."
Zidon
smirks at Kantala. "She did, did she? I'm sure that /was/ fun... maybe
you'd like to show... erm...?" He peers at Naol. Name, please?
Naol
seems to snap back into reality. "Naol," he says.
Zidon
nods. "Perhaps you can show Naol here how to 'slide?"
Kantala
says, "I could.." and pulls a box out from under one of the couches.
She digs through it til she finds a pair of blue bunny slippers that fit just
right.
OOC:
Kantala says "sorry i have to go"
Kantala
goes home.
Zidon
grins at Naol. "Seems like it's just you and me then. Well, find yourself a
pair of slippers..."
Naol
looks confused. "I don't have any..."
Zidon
points to the box Kantala dragged out from under one of the couches before she
left. "There. Find a pair that suits you."
Naol
shuffles through the box, trying some on, and finds a pair. He put them on in
place of his sandals and looks up.
Zidon
smirks. "Good... ok, now, in order to slide you run forward and then just
slide down the floor. It'll work, don't worry. It's a good idea to keep out your
arms for balance. And don't hit the walls!" Like he did. Ahem.
Naol
nods and tries. He scoots himself down the hall but his legs spread apart and he
falls face done on the floor. He emits an "Ow." from the floor.
Zidon
bites his lip, scurrying to Naol's side. "Uhm, are you ok? You have to bend
in your knees. Makes it easier."
Naol
nods as he slowly gets up. "Let me try again. He turns around and slides.
He does fine until turns from the
wall and lands again. "Ouch..." he says again. "Uh...Zidon?"
Zidon
bites back a grin. "Yeah? I told you not to hit the walls..."
Naol
says, "How do I stop?"
Naol
slowly climbs back up.
Zidon
chuckles slightly. "Erm, you just straighten up and then turn around,"
he explains.
Naol
nods and tries again, this time succeeding. He halts and turns back around doing
it again. He cranks his head to face Zidon. "It's a sinch!" Bang. He
ran it the wall again.
Zidon
grins. "Please, watch your head! Natch would ban me if I made people break
their necks..."
Naol
nods and tries. Again. And Again. He stops. "I got it."
Zidon
smirks. "Good, then! Just, be careful you don't hit anyone either..."
Like he did this morning. Nevermind about that.
Naol
smiles, places the slippers back with all the others he took out, scoots the box
back under the couch, dons his sandals, and exits.
Naol
walks to the Workroom.
